PLANNED GIVING

The Newfound Lake Region Association protects the health of the Newfound watershed, counteracting threats from invasive species, storm water pollution and development.  With a 50-year history of conservation, we have a solid foundation to build a bright future for Newfound.  A planned gift is one of the most impactful ways you can support critical conservation work in the watershed, helping to ensure the protection of our natural resources for generations to come.

WAYS TO GIVE

GIFTS THROUGH A WILL OR TRUST

Make a gift that costs nothing during your lifetime but ensures the long-range protection of Newfound by gifting cash, property, or a share of your estate through a will or trust.  A bequest of $2,500 to the NLRA endowment generates $100 per year in perpetuity; a gift of $10,000 generates $400 per year.  Your contribution is poised to make a huge difference for years to come.

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS

Naming NLRA as a beneficiary of one or your assets, such as a life insurance policy, retirement account, or bank or brokerage account is a simple way to plan a future gift and may save on estate and/or income taxes.

GIFTS OF STOCK AND APPRECIATED SECURITIES

Donors who gift appreciated stock, bonds, or mutual funds may not pay capital gains tax and also receive an immediate tax deduction.  Learn more.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

A donor advised fund gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to NLRA.  You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future giving.
