Discover the Energy of Spring during a Perfect Newfound Day

The deep snow is beginning to melt — a  sign that spring is just around the corner. This is the time of year when the urge to take off for a long weekend getaway is strong — so why resist? The Newfound Lake area is the perfect destination, with many options for recreation and relaxation. Here are some suggestions for making your own Perfect Spring Day!

Grey Rocks springA Birdwatching Hotspot
Birds are making their return to New Hampshire — a perfect time to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of birdwatching. A great place to observe the birds is at the beautiful and serene Grey Rocks Conservation Area on North Shore Road in Hebron. There are two observation platforms where you can set up your camera and enjoy the show. Bring your binoculars and you may see the bright red head of the pileated woodpecker searching for food. Please be respectful of wildlife and keep your distance.
