Goose Pond – Overlooking Newfound Lake
Walk the beautiful Elwell Trail and explore some of Newfound’s finest conserved land. Parking is located just north of Wellington State Park on West Shore Road. This easy-to-moderate hike is one of our favorite “little effort, big reward” hikes! Look for eagles soaring over Wellington Bay and beaver activity around Goose Pond.
Dogs are welcome but must be leashed, and owners are responsible for carrying out all pet waste.

Thai Smile, proudly serves authentic Thai and Japanese meals, among other Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. You will find many options, including vegetarian, meat, seafood and gluten-free fare.
