NLRA – Grey Rocks Conservation Area

Located on North Shore Road in Hebron

Whether you choose to walk, paddle, or just sit and relax, it’s always worth a trip to Grey Rocks. This summer we planted trees, added sheet mulching to build soil for future plantings, and installed benches and picnic tables. There are three observation platforms from which to enjoy nature and lovely views in peaceful settings. Bring binoculars and cameras, because it’s common to see heron, ducks, turtles, eagles and loons. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on leash, but owners are required to clean up after their pets.

Riverview Artisans Shares Handmade Craft with Bristol

Owners Barbara Platts Comeau and her husband, Bill Comeau have just celebrated the one-year anniversary of Riverview Artisans in downtown Bristol. After years traveling to galleries in other towns, they decided to open their own artistic outlet in their home town of Bristol. Their customers have been saying that Bristol has become a destination – great news for local businesses!

Riverview Artisans is filled with gorgeous handmade crafts produced by 25 different artisans, including jewelers, photographers, wood turners, blacksmiths, potters, stained glass and more. Several artisans are members of the League of NH Craftsman. Riverview Artisans carries both traditional crafts and contemporary wares.

Barbara brings over 20 years of experience managing craft galleries and considers this a true collaboration among artists to bring quality crafts to the public. For instance, one artist might provide a photograph for their colleague to create a handmade frame for the print.

If you are decorating your home or wish to purchase a unique, high-quality gift, be sure to visit Riverview Artisans on the river side of Central Square in Bristol!

Riverview Artisans is located at 26A Central Square in Bristol, NH. Call them at (603) 744-7700 or visit their Facebook Page to learn more.
