Dave has been a photographer for over 40 years. Although he has held other professions during that time, including 10 years in the US Navy, photography has always been part of his life. He grew up in western Massachusetts but moved to the Newfound Lake area at the behst of his wife, whose family had a summer home and whose parents live here now.

Over time, he started to notice that many photographers specialize in different aspects of New Hampshire - The White Mountains, the Seacoast, Lake Winnipesaukee, etc. - but very few on Newfound Lake. So, when he began selling his photography back in 2014, he decided to showcase Newfound Lake, and the surrounding area, in his photography. Dave says, "I shoot what I know and love."
