Dear Newfounders,
It’s been a busy few months since my last update. As winter weather sets in, the exterior of the Grey Rocks Conservation Center is being buttoned up. The roofing has been installed, with siding soon to come. Inside, interior walls are starting to take shape and we’re working to choose furnishings and equipment that will serve our education and conservation programs.
Supporters of this project are invited on a special tour of the Conservation Center on January 18, 2025 to see the current progress in person. I hope to see you there! Please RSVP to your email invitation.
In this season of gratitude, I want to once again express my thanks for the community’s support of this special project. The Conservation Center will grow and enhance all of the efforts that protect Newfound Lake.
