Honoring Rob Moore’s Legacy and Securing the Future of Newfound
At the 2021 NLRA Annual Meeting in August, NLRA advocate and champion Kelly Dunn energized the crowd by proposing an impactful new endowment fund and challenge grant to honor former NLRA President Rob Moore and his long-time service to the organization and the watershed.
The Fund will honor and build upon Rob’s impact in the watershed. It will support NLRA initiatives to further protect Newfound’s high-quality waters including water quality monitoring, building environmental resilience through stormwater management, enabling new NLRA initiatives, and inspiring Newfounders of all ages through community programming.
Kelly Dunn and family generously matched the first $100,000 of all donations to the Fund, and an anonymous donor inspired by Kelly’s action additionally matched the first $100,000, starting this fund with $300,000 to support our mission work.
