Pack a picnic and head to Goose Pond for a relatively easy and very satisfying hike. Beginning across the road from Wellington State Park, the trails are well marked and offer rewarding possibilities for seeing wildlife — plus an enjoyable way to get some exercise. Bring your binoculars to look for beavers swimming in the pond or bald eagles soaring overhead. Stop at the pond for a picnic or continue on the perimeter trail for a longer loop of adventure and views.

The Bristol Diner has been serving the Newfound Community since 2008. Located on 33 South Main Street in Bristol, the Diner is open daily for breakfast and lunch from 7:00 am-2:00 pm. Be sure to order the delicious homefries with your breakfast — you won’t be disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, refilling your coffee cup with fresh, hot coffee while you enjoy your breakfast.
