Snowshoe the Sugarloaf – Goose Pond Trails
Snowshoeing is a great way to experience Newfound’s tranquil winter. Hike the summit (1,002′) of Little Sugarloaf to see a sunset or lunar eclipse (February 11). Take the Elwell Trail (see trail map below) for a moderate hike, returning via Goose Pond for a sublime change of scene. Pack a thermos for some hot drink and enjoy your outdoor adventure!

Find Old Fashioned Charm at the Inn on Newfound
Enjoy the comfort and hospitality of the Inn on Newfound, located in Bridgewater, NH. The Inn’s dining room and full veranda overlook Newfound Lake – a perfect place to enjoy spectacular sunsets.
