Connect with Nature at Grey Rocks

Need to slow your pace and reconnect with nature? Pack your winter footwear and head to NLRA’s beautiful Grey Rocks property at the north end of Newfound Lake. This ecologically rich conservation land has a 1.5-mile trail system with bridges that winds through the heart of the Cockermouth River delta, and observation platforms for views and contemplation. Wandering the level and well-marked trails is a perfect way to breathe fresh air in a serene setting and experience an intimate connection with nature. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are allowed, but owners are responsible for removing all pet waste. Please remember, Grey Rocks is a Leave No Trace, carry-in/carry-out property.
