Join Us for Lake Week — July 22-29
The 3rd Annual Lake Week will be bigger and better than ever! Festivities kick off at 9 am with an environmental expo and family hike and scavenger hunt at Grey Rocks Conservation Area in Hebron. Learn how to build and sail your own model boat and see a New Hampshire Fish & Game Airboat Demonstration. Take a free NLRA mini EcoTour — we’ll be running them until 12:30 pm. If you haven’t signed up for the Around the Lake Sailing Race at 1:30 pm, there is still time.
There are many more outdoor activities for all ages every day of Lake Week, including a guided paddle trip along the Northern Newfound Water Trail, themed hikes (featuring camp cooking and yoga), musical performances and more. Some of these activities have modest fees and limited space, so please register in advance here.
Be sure to sign up now for a discounted NLRA EcoTour ride during Lake Week! On Friday, July 28, New Hampshire Audubon President Doug Bechtel is leading the EcoTour and will share his knowledge of the Newfound wildlife.
